Taking the First Step

Reaching out for therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you're used to handling everything on your own. You may have been thinking about therapy for a while, wondering if things are "hard enough" or if you should be able to manage on your own. If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck in patterns of overthinking, or disconnected from yourself, you don't have to figure it all out alone.

I offer a warm, supportive space where you can slow down, be heard, and begin understanding what's keeping you feeling stressed, exhausted, or on edge.

What to Expect

The first step is simply reaching out. You don't need to have the right words or know exactly what you want to say.

When you contact me, we'll briefly discuss what's bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether we're a good fit to work together. Finding the right therapist is important, and I want you to feel comfortable making the decision that's best for you.

Many of the women I work with are struggling with:

  • Anxiety and chronic worry

  • Overthinking and self-criticism

  • Difficulty setting boundaries

  • Feeling responsible for everyone else's needs

  • Stress, overwhelm, and burnout

  • Feeling disconnected from themselves or their relationships

  • Life transitions and relationship challenges

My Approach

My approach is gentle, collaborative, and practical. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and mindfulness-based skills to help you better understand your patterns, manage anxiety, and build a stronger sense of self-trust.

Therapy isn't about fixing what's wrong with you. It's about helping you understand yourself more clearly and develop new ways of responding to life's challenges.
